Two 4-week online ADHD groups that take you from "why does my brain do this?" to "I know exactly what works for me." For adults with ADHD — and the parents, partners and loved ones who want to understand them.
Live on Zoom · Mondays 7 PM ET / 6 PM CT / 5 PM MT / 4 PM PT · Group 1 starts Oct 26 · Group 2 starts Jan 11 · Every session recorded for every time zone

Most people with ADHD get one of two things: a diagnosis with no explanation, or a stack of tips built for someone else's brain.
So you try the planner. The app. The "just start earlier." And when it doesn't stick, it feels like proof that something's wrong with you.
It's not you. It's the order.
Understanding without tools leaves you thinking "cool, now what?" Tools without understanding become one more system you quit in three weeks. You need both — in the right order.

Learn how the ADHD brain actually works: executive function, dopamine, emotions and the nervous system. The why behind everything.

Use the Strengths Toolbox method to build tools, strategies and "Activation Recipes" from your own strengths, interests, needs and values. The now what.

Walk away with language for your experience, a one-page toolbox of what fuels you, and a method you can keep using long after the group ends. That's owning your ADHD.

Which one is right for me?
| If you're thinking... | Start here |
|---|---|
| "I just got diagnosed (or I suspect ADHD) and I want to understand it." | Group 1 |
| "I've had ADHD forever, but no one ever explained it." | Group 1 |
| "I love someone with ADHD and want to understand what's going on." | Group 1 |
| "I get the why — I need tools that actually stick." | Group 2 |
| "I want to help my child, teen or partner find what works for them." | Group 2 |
| "I want the whole picture." | Both, in order — Group 1 this fall, Group 2 in January |
Each group is sold separately, and Group 2 doesn't require Group 1. Taking both in order gives you the full understand → work with → own arc — with the holidays in between to let it sink in.

For parents, partners and loved ones
Love someone with ADHD? This series is for you, too.
Whether you're the parent of a child, teen or adult child with ADHD or the partner or spouse of someone with ADHD, understanding how the ADHD brain works — and how to support it from a place of strengths — can change the whole dynamic at home.
In Group 1, you'll learn why ADHD is a difference in self-regulation, not a lack of effort or caring, so frustration can turn into compassion. In Group 2, you'll learn the Strengths Toolbox method and the language to help your person discover what actually fuels them. Less nagging. More teamwork.
Live and online. Four sessions per group on Zoom, about 60–75 minutes each.
Recorded for every time zone. Recordings arrive within 24 hours, so you can join from anywhere in the world.
Small groups. 6–15 people, so there's room for real questions.
Workbook included. A companion workbook for each group.
Low pressure. Each session ends with one small experiment — not a pile of homework. Cameras optional.

I'm Dorsey McFadden, an ADDCA-trained ADHD coach (AACC, PCAC, ACC) and founder of Live Happy ADHD Coaching. For about five years I've helped adults with ADHD — and the people who love them — stop fighting the ADHD brain and start working with it.
I built this series because I kept seeing the same thing: the biggest breakthroughs come when understanding comes first, and tools are built from strengths — not struggles.
